London International Boat Show

We will be at the London International Boat Show this January, the leading event of its kind with over 400 exhibitors from power and sail boats, dinghies, engines, electronics, deck equipment, charter holidays, sailing courses and much more.

The show will also be the first opportuinity in the UK to see Solar Stik's™ exciting and truly innovative range of marine power products from the USA, and we are pleased to be their exclusive UK sales partner. Ocip Energy have relocated

Chelten head office

To keep pace with our expansion we have relocated to a new office and logistics base in Cheltenham, the new facility will have a presentation suite to demonstrate our product range and allow us to hold greater stock levels. It will also serve as a UK headquarters for our other overseas businesses.

Low Carbon Buildings Programme Phase 2 - Extended (LCBP2E)

Low Carbon Buildings Programme Phase 2

Following the Budget announcement on 22 April an additional £45 million has been allocated to the Low Carbon Buildings Programme (LCBP). LCBP Phase Two has received an additional £35 million of funding. This is extremely good news and means that grants are available to help support schools, communities and other organisations to install our wind turbines. Update April 2010 - Please note this scheme has closed as the feed-in tariff has replaced it.

HRH The Princess Royal visits the Sustainable Living Exhibition 2009 at the Lincolnshire Events Centre

Sustainable Living Exhibition 2009

Ocip Energy attended the Sustainable Living Exhibition 2009 held at the the state of the art EPIC center in Lincolnshire in June. The new EPIC centre has two quietrevolution turbines installed outside to complement its eco design. On the second day HRH The Princess Royal attended the show to officially open the new EPIC centre. During her visit she toured the exhibitors stands and we were greatly honored that HRH The Princess Royal spent some time talking with us about renewable energy and in particular small scale wind power.
