We acknowledge that our business does not exist in isolation and that our customers, suppliers and the local communities in which we sell our products and services need to be reassured that we have a responsible attitude to the way we do business.

Being responsible has different meanings in different markets. Above all we try and conduct our business with honesty, integrity and fairness across the range of legal jurisdictions in which we operate.

This is why we have developed a set of straightforward principles and practices to help explain to customers, suppliers and local communities what we do to help minimise our impact on the environment and how we conduct our business in a responsible way.

These principles cover four core areas, our products, our suppliers, employees, and the environment.


We recognise that the products we help develop and distribute have an impact on the environment and that throughout the lifecycle of the product there are a number of factors we need to consider. These include understanding production processes, transport and distribution, waste management obligations and regulatory and legislative compliance.

  • Where possible we try to organise our logistics and supply in a cost effective and energy efficient way.
  • All our products are designed to comply with recognised quality standards, the details of which are listed on our product specification sheets.



Choosing the right supplier is an important part of our business. This is why we try to partner with organisations that have a similar ethos to ours. When approaching suppliers we ask them about their working practices and about their attitudes to environmental management and corporate responsibility. As far as is practical we try to ensure that the companies we are doing business with are being responsible and acting in line with relevant regulation, legislation and best practice especially in relation to environmental management and employee care.

We acknowledge that we cannot possibly have sight of every aspect of our partners supply chains but we do try to at least understand how they work in each case.



We understand we have responsibilities and duties when it comes to our employees. Likewise we try to understand, through dialogue, site visits and discussion how our partners manage their employees which is especially relevant in markets where employee rights are limited or don’t exist.

We evaluate each company we work in an attempt to identify any problems and then try to work with them on any improvements if they exist.



Managing our impact on the environment is important to our business.

As for keeping our own house in order, we reuse and recycle as much as is practical at our offices in Cheltenham and our working style encourages use of communications technology and remote working to avoid unnecessary travelling.
